How Rolling Encryption Works

Our rolling hybrid encryption ensures every email has a unique lock and key.

Step 1: Ephemeral Key Generation
For every email you send, a unique, one-time encryption key is generated on your device. This key exists only for this single message.

Step 2: Dual-Layer Encryption
Your message is encrypted with the one-time key. Then, the one-time key itself is encrypted using the recipient's public key, wrapping your message in two layers of security.

Step 3: Secure Transmission
The double-encrypted message is sent. Even if intercepted, it's unreadable without the recipient's private key, which never leaves their device.

Step 4: Decryption & Discard
The recipient's private key decrypts the one-time key, which then decrypts your message. After decryption, the one-time key is discarded forever.
